Yesterday Ms. Thompson met with folks from Facilities and Hartford Health Services. I was not at the meeting, but Ms. Thompson gave me a summary. There is a plan for further testing. Discussion and actions related to underlying issues with plumbing (e.g., electrical grounding that can liberate copper) are ongoing. The idea that copper may be an issue elsewhere in HPS is on the table. Lead is being discussed, and data for ESM from 2016 has been shared with me.
All of this is good, although I don't understand why it took 9 months to get to this point. Ideally, the reason for this blog will disappear as issues are resolved.
